Things ...

Here are a few of my favorite things...  But this really is a nicely thought out scene. Painted on my birthday in 2011, and then some. I think  i might have had a dream about this image first.and That's why the background looks the way it does. Still, i don't think that anyone could paint Every single convoluted petal of a modern rose.  Ahhhmm, i Sure Do Like These Here Things...   I can live without these, while others not. 10.25`* 14`

So out of practice....   and that's what i always say. Just keep it up and practice...  I sure knew what i was trying to do, and by the end of it remembered how.... so...   For all those out there, all i can say is, keep practicing ...   And to the rest! Dont steal the brush from my hand!!.....      During the rainy days of May in 2011.,. I guess i was greaming of how good it could be. Like a Big Beautiful Tulip fresh from the sun. ....

After much time without a brush in hand, i needed much encouragement to make this here bunch of wildflowers apear.  With wispers in my ear, i placed each brushstoke. Well, it sure seems o.k... if a little misplaced. like a nice painting, but distracted... By May 2011, while sitting in the lonliest motel room on earth, I tried so hard to remember how great paint is, and won't complain for results. I thank those wispers in my ear for this painting to be, albeit distracted. 10.25" * 14"

A magnificent Sunflower burtsting forth with so much energy. Painted in the summer of 2006. It was a great time when life was full of possiblilities to just create more and more.  What could be better thasn just picking the first flower and making a beautiful piture to last for years. Although i guess that it seems to be gone now.

Above is the least static rock you might find in Mud Lake forest, painted with watercolour in 2006. It has been sold. Odd how this shares the same dimensions as the one to the right, but by the time it was digitized to this point...? 7" * 10.25"

Just around the corner from that rock, by the water this tenacious flower climbs some grass with a restrictive grip. Painted days apart, also watercolour.  7" * 10.25"
